May 6-22 – UNLV Millennium Scholars Facts and Figures
- Millennium Scholars Facts and Figures is a presentation given by UNLV’s undergraduate recruiters in all of the CCSD regions as well as select out-of-state areas. The audience is high school seniors with a 3.25 GPA or above and the message is ‘information on the Millennium Scholarship’.

May 8 – 27 Financial Aid Workshops
- Attention 2008 Seniors!!! The College of Southern Nevada will be sponsoring Financial Aid workshops during April and May. If you have not completed your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) our CSN financial representatives will be available to provide you with one-on-one assistance. The dates, times and locations are as follows:
- 5/08/08 3:30-5:30pm C-114 W. Charleston Campus
- 5/13/08 2:00-3:00pm C-116 Henderson Campus
- 5/20/08 10:00-12:00pm C-114 W. Charleston Campus

May 9 & 30 – UNLV Registration Help Day
- This program is designed to give students admitted to UNLV assistance with class registration. During the event, students can receive academic advising and training on the registration system, meet with a financial aid counselor, take a tour to help find their classes and receive required immunizations. RSVP at www.unlv.edu/admissions.
May 10 – UNLV Future Scholars
- This event honors outstanding academic achievement for eighth- through 10th-grade students that have earned a 4.0 unweighted GPA. Participation in the program is by invitation only and qualifying students must RSVP in order to attend. Families are also encouraged to participate. It will be held at the Cox Pavilion at 2:00 p.m.

- Learn about CSN programs and student services. Meet with academic counselors/advisors. Enroll early to beat the last minute registration rush. Students must complete English and Math placement tests before they can register for classes. SAT and ACT scores may be used in place of test. Applying for student aid before the event is recommended. 2:30 – 3:00 Sign in, 3:00-4:00 Student Orientation, 4:00-5:00 Parent Information Session, and 4:00-6:30 In Person Registration.

held at 9:30a.m. at the Tam Alumni Center. - The On-Site Saturday program includes a campus tour, an opportunity to meet with an undergraduate recruiter, an overview of unlv.edu, and lunch in the dining commons. All interested prospective students and parents are invited to attend. RSVP at www.unlv.edu/admissions.

June 30 – UNR Nevada Bound (Juniors only)
- CCSD juniors with a 2.75 GPA or higher are invited to fly to Reno to visit the
UNR Campus. Cost is $99 and includes airfare, shuttle service, campus tour,
lunch, residence hall tour, and a visit with academic representatives and current UNR students from Las Vegas. - Students must complete the trip application form available in High School
